Yeah, so this isn't the piece I've said I've been working on, but something different.

First off, all credit to for the lineart. She did the lines waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaay back in December. (I think it was a runner up prize in a contest), but she's really streched tight for time, so last night, I asked her for permission to colour, and she said: "Of course you can colour it!! As far as I see it, it's yours to do what you want with!"

So I did! And this is the end result. Before anyone asks, yes, his skin is white. (There's only a VERY VERY VERY minute blue colour to it, but it's not noticeable). *Eumenides based this off a (craptacular) design I gave her. She improved it SO much. The original design had him in total black, but that was boring, so I decided to change it around a little, and give his suit extra colour. Looks better. She also changed the haircut from a bowl-cut, (what the HELL was I thinking?), to a slicked back hair look.

He's a Teen Titan Original Character - Bad Guy - I created a way back when i first started on dA.

In the fanfiction I'm currently working on, the Titans are about 16, give or take a few months each, since that's how I've always considered them since I first saw the cartoon. So... meh.
Anyways, Blackout's current age is 18.
Finally, he is the nemesis I created for Nexus, who can be found here: [link] (also *Eumenides work). Nexus was my Teen Titan OC hero, again, created way back when I started on dA.


Name: Blackout
Age: 18
Powers: The ability to manipulate and control shadows. He is also able to phase into and out of them, and form them into simple weapons such as straight swords or daggers. (Before any asks at all, I created this guy long before I even discovered "Naruto". I'm not sure when the manga first came out but... you know? Similarities between Blackout and Shikamaru's abilities of "Naruto" is totally coincidental).

Personality: Cocky, though hardly arrogant. He delights in messing with people's heads in a battle, since he sees psychology as playing a key role in any battle, for any combatant. He sometimes gets overconfident, and can "play" with his opponent should this occur. When not in battle, he's often derivitive of other people; and quiet at some times but outspoken at others. Since he likes to work alone, he prefers to keep to himself, and to work alone.

Height: 6ft 1

Weaknesses: Occasional overconfidence. Plus, his shadows can only be manipulated up to the maximum surface area of the shadows around him. This is why he works better at sunrise, sunset, or at night.

History: Not much is known of his history, since he prefers to keep to himself. Anyone who has asked him has either been left hanging, or hospitalised. What is known, is that he is a mercenary, hiring his services out ot the highest bidder. He will take almost any mission, though assasinations are not on his CV. In addition, he seems to have a personal rivalry with Nexus. The reasons are again, unknown.
